Tan Rio is converting to Tan Republic franchises, creating the largest tanning salon franchise company in Oregon. While our Illinois and Missouri locations will continue to operate under the Tan Rio name and branding, our Oregon and Washington stores will become Tan Republic franchises. You will begin to notice changes this month as our stores change signage from Tan Rio to Tan Republic, and you are going to love the detailed improvements we are making inside the stores as well.

This change is to be able to better serve Oregon with the best tanning facilities in the most convenient locations, all of which will be networked together and consistently run from the Tan Republic Franchise corporate offices in Salem, Oregon. Your tanning packages from Tan Rio will carry over to all the Tan Republic franchises, and you'll have the added benefit of being able to tan anywhere from Vancouver through Portland and all the way down to Salem, with additional Tan Republic salons under development.
